All grains are unique unto themselves in some ways, and the same as all others in other ways. The complex carbohydrates, lack of sufficient Vit C, fact that they are cooked, and many other issues make all grains undesirable as human food. The lack of gluten in some grains does make them "better" than those with gluten.
