Anybody know of a coach or a written guide to eating 811 in UK. Fruit is not the best where I'm from so it needs to be more creative than go to the fruit shop. Doug put the list together below in an earlier post but I could do with it explaining/expanding.

Suggestions for the fact that the fruit where you live is poor in winter:
1. Keep looking to source better fruit.
2. Take at least a holiday, if not a longer visit, to somewhere warm each winter.
3. Learn to use persimmon, pears, and other fruits to delay the onset of sparse winter fare.
4. Learn to use dried fruit, if necessary, to hasten the onset of sweet fruit consumption in late spring.
5. Learn more about the different types of citrus available to you during the winter months so as to be eating the best that you can procure.
