Subject:         Eating 811 while being in backcountry for extended time

Historically I have made stews to dehydrate for backcountry travel for up to
two weeks. Now that I am following the 811 plan, I' m not sure that
dehydrating fruits and vegies and rehydrating them for meals in the back
country would be healthier than biting the bullet and eating more starches
for the duration of my 10 day trip out where there are no stores. Does
anyone have any experience with this, or suggestions?
