In Seattle, you have several options, since what you want is fruit that is in season when you buy it, and not necessarily fruit in season solely in your area.

1. Ask your distributor at what point in the season is the fruit you are interested in.
2. Go to a local co-op and ask them for information on which fruits are at their peak, which are not. I am particularly fond of the co-op in Skagit, but I am sure there are others closer to you that would gladly share that info with you.
