I have been on 80/10/10 for only 3 weeks now and the transition was
smooth. However, I am recovering from cancer and chemotherapy. I am 57
1/2 year old woman who has been vegetarian, natural hygienist, low fat to
higher fat vegan ( that is when I got the cancer 2 X'S in one year), to high
raw, to high fat raw. Now, I love the 80/10/10 program and recognize a lot
of what I learned on Natural Hygiene.
My issues are exercise related. I now have finally returned to having some
energy and desire to do more exercise. Previously, a workout would result
in fatigue or sickness or injury. I really don't think of myself as doing to
much as it is not even as good as a whimp could do.
I am now puzzled by this strange hip joint issue that suddenly appeared.
My chiropractor seems to think it could be inflamed because I have one
side of my hip that drops down and my landing on the other side is too
hard. He feels pilates would help to strengthen and keep it better in place.
When it is out I have lower backaches accompanying.
During my chemo and prior, I had experienced occasional hip pain at
bedtime.
Could some of the pain also be detoxing?
I would love to be able to run or jog but slow walking is the best my hip will
allow. I feel trapped in a body my mind won't accept.
If it is patience I need, I can accept that. I have been patiently trying to
achieve better health for 30 years now and I think I am finally on the right
path.
