Jack,
If you read my first post, I am in recovery these
weeks, not heavy training. My normal diet when I am in
training (what I was doing all 2013 until this over-
training occured) is banana/green/berry smoothies
(about 1-1/2 gallons per day) and maybe some fresh
fruit such as mangoes, pineapples, followed by a
cooked dinner meal of potatoes or beans and lots of
vegetables. I usually eat 3500 calories per day, 70-
80% fruit. In recovery I have still been eating
according to my appetite, but watermelon does have a
way of filling you up before you've reached sufficient
calories, I agree!

I am pretty sure 3500 is the correct number. I am 125
lbs, very active daily life (very busy mom/home
business), breastfeeding a toddler (appx 1000 calories
a day I figure, maybe I am wrong. he is pretty active
after all. he only eats 200 calories of solid food
daily, if that), training 7-8 hours per week.
