Hello Zendoin,
well done in your transition. I'm also expecting a baby in November.
If you think of 811rv as the most appropriate diet for our species,
you'll find most of your answers. Yes it's ideal to eat 811 during
pregnancy, during breast feeding and for a baby after a long period
of breast feeding. A young child can require a higher percentage of
calories from fat, in the form of avocados and the like. I tend to
think too much is made of detoxing and it has become an industry in
itself. If a pregnant cow had been eating hamburgers, would you
think twice about giving it grass instead? Or if a pregnant bitch had
been fed ice-cream, would you hesitate in feeding it raw meat and
bones? Would you worry about the detox? I think we'd want to make
sure the pregnant animal had the most appropriate diet for its
species as soon as possible to ensure they were getting the right
nutrients for their health and the health of their baby.
All the best,
