Subject:         Dermatitis worse on 80/10/10, Blood test recommendations?

Thanks in advance for reading this and lending some help. Sorry its a long

Quick background on my life. Had severe ear infections as a child, on a lot of
antibiotics for them, had severe allergies all throughout highschool and skin
problems. Ate a lot of wheat products when I was younger, had to take
benedryl (antihistamine) everyday for at least 4-5 years to control crazy hive
outbreaks on my skin all over my body. Always have had raw skin around my
nose, under my eyebrows and trouble with acne on my forehead.

Went on the "candida diet" recommended by Bee Wilder which was all organic
meat and low carb veggies, basically I'd have two large meat / veggie stir-fries
cooked in coconut oil and one meal of scrambled eggs per day.

The diet also recommended a bunch of supplements, was pretty much
supplementing with Natural Factors vitamin A, B Complex, Vitamin C crystals
(lots of it to control my allergies), D, E, Cod liver oil, and I had to take stomach
acid pills after each meal just to be able to digest it or else if I didn't the food
would just sit there like a rock and I would most often get sores developing on
my scalp. It was really a painful and unnatural way to live.

I was on this "Candida diet" for 4 years and felt good to at least have natural
control over my allergies, no more benedryl, also I had natural control over my
skin condition (severe dermatitis). But during the last year of the diet my skin
would flare up constantly for seemingly no reason, hadnt switched a thing in
the diet and yet I could wake up one morning with a face riddled with dermatitis
after going to bed looking fine. It also became extremely painful to eat any of
the meals I had been eating for 4 years, I was frightened to eat because of the
pain it caused me.

My friend knew I was suffering and turned me onto the 80/10/10 diet. I had
nothing else to lose, felt and looked like complete crap so I went for it cold
turkey. I've been on the diet now for about a month and a half and my
dermatitis is the worst its been in my whole life, I've missed about 15 days of
work since being on the diet because I'm so embarrassed of my hideous skin.
My hair is also thinning out drastically. The benefits I have found on the diet
are that my digestion is amazing, I no longer need any supplements to control
my allergies, allergies are all gone. No longer need digestive pills to digest
meals. I feel like I am living so much more naturally and I am grateful for that
feeling, I just wish my skin would catch up with the way my body feels.

I also have noticed a decrease in sex drive but I think thats probably just in part
due to my low self-esteem lately.

On the old "candida diet" I could sleep 8 hours straight easily, on this diet I am
up many times in the night to either pee or because I am starving and need to
eat a monofruit meal so I can go back to bed. Sometimes I wake up with a
severely dry throat too and need lots of water.

I have been getting lots of sun, good rest, exercise (which worsens the
dermatitis) and eating plenty of carbs per day, I can easily spend $40-60 on
organic fruits per day.

I'm wondering if its just going to take awhile for my body to adjust since it was
running on mainly fat for 4 years?

SO... I'm going to go get my blood tested, what should I tell them to check for?

I feel like I might have been born with some sort of vitamin deficiency since Ive
had problems all my life and maybe this diet alone cant be the cure until I solve
my underlying problem. I feel like I might have a biotin deficiency, all my
symptoms point to that as well as all the things that cause this (antibiotics, raw
egg consumption everyday for years, i had about 4 raw eggs a day)

Not sure if I have a b12 deficiency since I dont have any of the symptoms of it
and I dont think its tied to skin as much as some of the other B's?

Any help would be awesome, this sucks.
