No doubt the plant is edible, though usually each of its parts is cooked before eating. The leaves may be edible raw. I've not eaten moringa. As a curiosity, another bit of variety, it could prove interesting. If you have the space and are willing to grow the plant, you can cut it back once a year to about 6 feet in height, so that it doesn't grow too tall. Otherwise it will grow to about 30 feet.
