Dear Dr. Graham,
thank you very much for your answer and for
dedicating time on my question! It is really
invaluable to hear a competent opinion on the issue
especially when one is new to the field and our
world is so keen on meat and dairy products on a
global scale.
My question was provoked by the fact that when I
tried going vegetarian, I had some terrible crises
when my iron dropped - I made blood tests and it
showed clearly, so I started eating meat again and
in particular pate which is made of liver and which
my family consumes on a regular basis.
This is the reason I fell off the vegetarian diet
and I very much regret it now.
Now that I intend to attempt the 80/10/10 I would
really want to succeed now.
For this reason I wanted to raise the topic. In the
Youtube channel of Miss Kristina Bucaram I saw a
recipe for a spinach basil smoothie made with orange
juice, which in my ideas should be a high iron
content smoothie. I know, however, that spinach is a
cruciferous leafy green. For this reason I wonder if
making such a smoothie on a daily basis in order to
keep one's iron up would be safe for humans?
Reading your book now, it really systematically and
precisely explains to me how the 80/10/10 diet
supports our health. Your YouTube channel and the
current forum add to its value and help us
understand where we are going and what we are doing
with our health!
Thank you for your work and I would like to
sincerely wish you lots of success and happiness in
both your professional and personal life!
Best regards!
Daniela
