Sounds like a bout of uticaria. Acute uticaria can last up to 6 weeks, but most rashes of the sort you mention resolve in under one week. I'm glad to hear yours is getting better so quickly. The cause(s) of uticaria are essentially unknown.

The body does what it does in order to create optimum health for you, based upon the substances, forces, influences, and conditions that you supply. Rest assured that the body always performs its functions in a fashion that represents the least effort for the body while doing the least possible harm to itself.
