Is it as good to eat just vegetable fruits, and not bother with greens? The 80/10/10 Diet stresses the importance of green, leafy. I find it hard to imagine the same benefits could be derived from non-sweet fruits, aka vegetables? I adore my greens, but whilst I enjoy "vegetable" fruits, I could live without them. In fact I prefer greens to fruit, though fruit is necessary for calories and the sweet taste provides satiation. But in UK, fruit is disappointing and mostly won't ripen in the cold months; greens are delicious, reliable and satisfying.
