I'm finding other citings online for the positive correlation between iodine deficiency & cancer, where iodine is found to be needed for optimal immune function & apoptosis. True, there are factors other than the iodine levels in our foods that interfere with our uptake that many of us here as opposed to the general population need not be concerned with; still, it's an issue worthy of discussion I feel.
