it's been about 2 weeks now that I have been having a stuffed nose / upper respiratory blockages. I don't know if it's some allergy or something else, I have been having these kinds of symptoms similar to asthma or allergies for a few years on and off but they are very on right now.
The problem is that this affects my ability to sleep. I try to sleep but can't because I need to breath from my nose but it is blocked solid. I try to sleep and breath through my mouth but that doesn't work either as my mouth will soon get all dry and painful and I wake up needing to drink some water. Other times I will sort of doze off and immediately I will wake up because I would bite my cheek or tongue and wake up to the pain. I wind up staying awake for most of the night almost every single night. Oftentimes I will finally fall asleep about 4 or 5 am only to wake up at 6 am when my alarm goes off waking me to go to work.
I'm sure I have not been getting more than 3 - 4 hours of sleep a night and it certainly is not optimal.
What kinds of things would someone do in this situation?
