Subject:         Ripening of bananas and Kiwis

Often when my bananas are ripening there are brown clusters on them instead of
brown spots, is one or the other preferable? They're just as tasty.

How can I ripen kiwis? Either they seem to be too hard and really sour or too soft
and inedible. I get about 3/10 kiwis right.
