Hello Lizz,
try eating more vegetables than fruits and try eating the higher fibre
lower calorie fruits such as apples and less of the sweeter fruits such
as dates and bananas. When I've wanted to consume less calories,
I've eaten plenty of cucumbers, tomatoes, celery and apples in their
whole state. Eating more calories than we burn leads to excess
weight, even with the most perfect foods. If you're eating when you're
not hungry, there may be an issue with emotional eating and there
are many wonderful suport groups, counsellors and psychologists
out there who can help with this.
Best wishes, Bronwyn
