Hello Lizz, try eating more vegetables than fruits and try eating the higher fibre lower calorie fruits such as apples and less of the sweeter fruits such as dates and bananas. When I've wanted to consume less calories, I've eaten plenty of cucumbers, tomatoes, celery and apples in their whole state. Eating more calories than we burn leads to excess weight, even with the most perfect foods. If you're eating when you're not hungry, there may be an issue with emotional eating and there are many wonderful suport groups, counsellors and psychologists out there who can help with this.
