| | Subject: | How to "retrain" appetite after years of overeating? | |
Date: | April 6, 2013 at 6:46 pm PST |
So, for 2.5 years I have overeaten in terms of calories even maintaining a relatively consistent 80/10/10 ratio. I was overeating because I was listening to certain high carb raw vegan personalities that say EAT MORE! EAT MORE! to stay raw. Unfortunately though, the last 8 months I have discovered that there is no such thing as enough fruit to keep me raw! I can EAT and eat and eat. I have a crazy appetite. As a result, although I have gotten a lot of great results from eating high fruit, low/lower fat and mostly raw, no salt no oil etc. I have not gotten some of the weight loss results I want/need. Since reducing my calories to the recommended levels for me to loose weight (last 8 months: -3 inches on waist) I feel confident that I can get where I need to go. However, I am still struggling with appetite! I just cant seem to get full after my period of overeating. Did I just stretch my stomach so much? When will that muscle atrophy? Just kidding. Tips to overcome crazy desire to overeat fruit?
