I get much of my produce from a weekly certified farmer’s market. I limit my driving due to having Parkinson’s Disease. I am 67 years old. I go mostly to a medium–small one at the Kaiser Hospital in Panorama City, Los Angeles, near my home. Much of the stuff I get there is either certified organic, candidate for certified organic, or, believing what booth staff have indicated to me, pesticide free. Most important to me is taste, which perhaps includes the adjective quality. I think frequently, probably mostly, organic tastes better than conventional. I get some things from Whole Foods Market. I go to Thai and Chinese markets for my wife R. Once in a long while I go with my wife to Costco when she wants their roasted chicken and maybe some pastry and some produce. My diet has been getting closer to 80-10-10 but still have a ways to go. Thanks for your interesting responses, Heidi Jane and GWN.
