Subject:         help for an extremely "skinny-fat" person please!

I am wondering how possible it would be for me to rebalance my body composition. I gained 25 lbs of fat since being only 70 lbs and now have practically no muscle. I am only 5'1 and very small framed so 95 was a healthy strong weight for me, but now at 91 I am a completely different body type.

Dr G you mention something about a model in your book who looked very thin to strangers but when tested for body fat she had a shocking amount of excess. I am at this point now, the epotime of "skinny fat". :( How would I even test my body fat? Is it true that the Tanita scales only work if you have a normal amount of muscle (for the electrical signals to travel through?)

In this situation do you lose the fat first as generally recommended or do you work on building muscle? I assume you cannot do both at once. How would I even go about doing this? I cannot even do a sun salutation for yoga now. Is pilates on a reformer the best method for making sure I'd have proper form for it to work?

I'm also very toxic and acidic now. I am wondering when fasting is a good idea? (not at my weight?)

I got into this situation overeating (10 000 calories) not undereating as anyone would expect and I've been sedentary, not active. No one believes me, but clearly there are absorption issues here! What are causes for losing muscle and not turning calories to fat? Everyone assumes I'm anorexic because I do not know what to call this condition I only know what I did.

Please anyone give me advice and info. I really want to follow 80/10/10 when I am able to again because that worked so well for me. I wish I never gave up, it wasn't even hard, but I did what I did. I just want to know how to start picking up the pieces, I need a plan!
