Thanks for the reply. You make a very good point. I certainly do not consider sleep nourishment just as food, exercise, sunshine and friendship are. Maybe this is the key to elimination of caffeine. I do feel as though I am getting close but not there yet and getting a little frustrated. With regards to your further question about weight, I would like to lose weight and I am prepared to do what I need to lose it. At the same time, I need to eat enough calories to have energy for all of my workouts. When I don't eat enough I simply do not have the motivation to do them.
