All fresh fruits are good for your child, including the various sweet fruits. Dried fruits are a second choice. Dates usually fall somewhere in between fresh and dried, but are certainly an acceptable option.

I recommend against a child eating "all day long" in favor of five, six, or even more meals per day if necessary.
