raw. This usually totally confounds them,and no
further questions ensue!
Many do not know the difference between vegan and
vegetarian, or think I eschew meat but still eat eggs
or dairy.
These are educated folk; but as I am in my 50s, I tend
to get asked by people around my own age or older, as
they might be the ones who consider me a health
example. Younger folks are more aware of the dietary
terms.

I never bring up the topic unless questioned though.
