Someone I know was diagnosed with HPV. I did a little research and found out that there must be skin to skin or genital to genital contact as the virus doesn't survive outside of the body for long. Is this true? Can sharing a towel, trying on clothes, touching something that has the virus on it etc. spread the virus? If the person had only one sexual partner in their life does that mean the partner was infected at some point?
