Hello everyone, I'm a little curious as to how 811rv people refer to themselves when they are describing their diet. I often say I'm a vegan when offered food. I rarely say I'm a raw vegan, let alone a high-carb or low-fat raw vegan. With the term "vegan", people accept I won't be eating the food available. The public imaginings of veganism exclude most food. Yesterday, a man who I volunteer at a soup kitchen with asked me why I wasn't eating. I said I was a vegan. His English is limited and he hadn't heard the words vegetarian or vegan before. I started to mention the foods I ate. He smiled and expressed delight as he loves these foods too (although he also consumes meat and dairy.) He said that's a good way to save money! I then thought, I should simply tell all people I eat fruits, vegetables, nuts and seeds. This sounds alive and vital. Most meat eaters can also say they enjoy fruits, vegetables and nuts. What do you call your 811rv diet? Thank you kindly, Bronwyn
