I agree that we are all different but I thought I would share what shoes helped me through my "foot issues." There is a foot company called Ariat and they make everything from athletic shoes, clogs, sandals and boots. The company started out making equestrian boots. (Horseback riders need great posture allignment and protection for their feet from constantly jumping off of horses.) Ariat used what they learned making amazing riding boots and applied it to regular, every day shoes. I found that their line of ATS-technology shoes have amazing heel stability which made a big difference in the recovery of my foot issues. Hope that helps.
