I don't know how far north you live, but in most parts of the north spring is really on its way this year. I'd recommend getting outdoors, as a better approach than a tanning bed. I believe tanning beds are safer than they used to be, but the benefits also aren't that great unless they are used rather frequently and repeatedly. 3 minutes a few times a year isn't going to hurt much, but it isn't going to help much either.
