Fresh is always best, but bagged is not a horrible option. Grapes, persimmon (fuyu) pineapple (prepped,) citrus, dates, and many other fruits travel well. I tend to travel more with veggies these days, since lettuce, cukes, and celery all travel so well and are a treat on an airplane.
