Hi Dr.G.
First off great books. I have a few of them.
Now I am a pro driver I take people on long charters sometimes up to a 12 hour trip.
During the trip I have stretches where I drive at least 2 hours or more without a break.
When I stop I either pick up some more passengers or I unload some freight in total up to 1 ton by myself.
Of course I don't have a lot of time during those pick ups and my bathroom breaks are basically at the stops.
I am wondering about the following.
Should I simply just eat a large fruit meal before work and hope that will carry me through the entire trip?
Should I be eating after I lift freight in each stop to replenish the energy I burned?
I was thinking of blending greens and fruit what do you think and sipping on that through out the trip?
When I arrive at my final destination I am tired but not tired enough to sleep so I have eaten cooked vegan salted foods to help me go to sleep because I need to have sleep for my and the passengers safety.
I do not drink coffee but in my industry most are addicts.
Any assistance would be much appreciated many people at work notice my fruit consumption while in the office but I am going back to driving after a shoulder injury about 2 months ago.
Thanks again for all your efforts and books.
