i totally understand that she did the best that she
knew how, and making the decisions that she made.
when your health is deteriorating, you certainly get
scared and desperate and she did what she thought
was right.
the problem, as with other similar stories, is that
she draws conclusions about alleged 811 deficiencies
and meat necessities that are completely
unsupported.
the only believable test would be for someone to get
a complete assessment of nutrient status before,
during and after a dietary change. only then can
conclusions be drawn, and even then they would be
tentative because nutrient issues can present during
a major transition. but it would be better than
making totally unsupported statements regarding
coQ10 or other nutrients she is alleging caused her
problems.
and people cannot simply say "it's not detox". it
certainly can be detox, and transition can take a
long time, longer than we think, and some people may
need slower transition.
when she said, I ate 2500 calories, maybe she was
eating when the body did not require food. this by
itself can cause problems. and feeling hungry all
the time is typical and explainable for a while,
although i suspect eating poor quality food is a
cause of this too.
the other thing that people do not do is actually
post their diet after running into problems. this
must be done to show anything. all they do is say, I
ate 811. this is meaningless. the application and
interpretation is critical.
it certainly could be that her genetics cause a
problem, but that must be demonstrated, not simply
stated absent evidence.
