I have a lot of experience with glaucoma, as both my grandmother and mother experienced this condition. My grandmother used drops for decades, my mother ended up choosing surgery in each eye, one at a time, 50 years ago, and still sees well to this day. If I were in your shoes, I would fast first, BEFORE choosing surgery. Fasting will help your overall health, and may take care of the eye pain. I have fasted several people who suffered with high ocular pressure, all with good results, but have also heard of people who did not experience results at all in terms of reducing the pressure. The surgical option will still be available to you after fasting, if it proves necessary.
