I was specifically referring to pomegranate's antifungal properties as can be read, for example, in "Studies on Antibacterial and Antifungal Activity of Pomegranate". Substances from pomegrante (i.e. punicalagin) act against candida albicans. Although the peel extract of pomegranate has shown highest antimicrobial activity compared to other extracts, the juice (or fruit) might also be of use.
