My experience has been that the alternation between 811rv and cooked foods is not a healthy one for teeth. I write about this in my book, mentioning that cooked foods, especially starches, are hyper-reactive to the sugars in fruit, and mixing the two is tough on teeth. I've found that 811rv is not tough on teeth, and that most people find their teeth improve dramatically on 811rv, but that long, drawn out transitions are tough on teeth. I recommend jumping in 100%, because until you are fully in, you are out, and while others will blame the fruit, I see the problem as coming from the combination of fruit and starch, even when eaten alternately.
