I have a couple of friends who have lost weight on this diet. I understand why it's not healthy, either short or long term. However, I am not clear as to how it's effective for weight loss short term, given its high fat content, even with the absence of grains and processed foods.

Can someone, Dr Graham or otherwise, help me with some info on that please?
