It is possible to "pick up" pin worms from almost anywhere, if an infected person has touched something you then touch. The eggs are tiny, and are even said to be able to float on dust particles, so that you could theoretically breathe the eggs into your system.

There are literally dozens of effective pin worm treatments available on the web, mostly using readily available home remedies.
