On this theme, when...for example...I can get conventional avocadoes for under a buck each and organic are $2 each...am I nuts to go conventional on an item of produce not known to be heavily contaminated by insecticides? I ain't made of $$$....but don't want to be penny wise and pound foolish either, as they say.
