Start by creating a ritual to follow when getting ready to sleep. Lots of steps, all leading you to sleep. Lights lowered. Bathroom things. Speaking softly. Nightgown or pjs. Perhaps reading. At the first yawn, it's lights out and hit the pillow.
Also, start a list for tracking sleep. You'd really like to know how many hours per month you average.
Then you can see if you can improve upon your average, like a game.
