My partner and I have been 80/10/10 raw but will start working with troubled teens by taking them backpacking. Our schedule would be 8 days in the wilderness and 6 days off. We cannot be raw while backpacking although we intend to bring as many dehydrated fruits as possible, but want to be raw during our 6 day off. Our question is: would it be ok to be continuously switching from cooked to raw or would we be in a constant state of detox? We would love to hear your thoughts, thank you. ps. our backpacking food would include dehydrated potatoes, rice, beans, gluten free tortillas, raw nut butter, dehydrated bananas and other fruits, and dates.
