I live in Boca raton, FL now. I was in Tampa for about 30 years before that. South Florida appears to be the mason-dixon line for growing some of these fruits... I bought a jackfruit (my first ever and have not cut it yet) a few black sapote and about 7 canistels the other day. I got them from a couple who own a 33 acre farm in Loxahatchee Groves, west of West Palm Beach. They grow some very nice fruit. They are called the Lychee Fruit Store. They have a page on facebook. I had one of their avocados and it was superb. He says their produce is mostly organic but they use a mild spray on some fruits. It is a very small business I believe. I hope to go visit their farm before long.
