The texture was still somewhat firm and I don't think it was quite
beyond ripe. But there was a piece I had eaten earlier and had
put in the refrigerator and which might have gone a little over the
edge. And I ate some of that. That piece might have been just a
little bit mushy.... I am new to this fruit basically. I would like to
add it to my repertoire if I can eat it properly and if I can digest it
well. It seems to be a very dense fruit. And it apparently grows
well here too.
