My son has an infected fingernail. I tried treating it with a tea tree oil skin cut/rash treatment. And then colloidal silver for cuts. It no longer has green puss, but still looks pretty mangled and is "open" because the nail is half gone. When he was younger he had a staph infection (I think). It didn't get serious but dr's bring it up when reviewing his history. So it makes a nasty cut like this scarier for us (his parents) than it should be. We just got a prescription for sulfamethoxazole/trimethoprim suspension (oral) for 10 days. Side effects go on and on. Do you know of any way to treat an infected finger naturally? Thanks, David
