I don't have enough info on you to recommend a specific length for your fast. Fasting invariably helps absorption, as we've seen on countless people with malabsorption syndrome who have resolved their issues through fasting. It is quite common to see people begin a fast with low b12 and end it with high b12, yes. If indeed you do not produce intrinsic factor (since when, and why?) then injections would be the way to go. What tests were done to confirm that you don't produce intrinsic factor?
