Subject:         is it a rule or just common sense

I have been reading the posts and have noticed much confusion
among people on how, when, and what to eat. However, I
received valuable insight from the writings of Luigi Cornaro,
a nobleman who struggled with poor,declining health at the age
of 35 to whom doctors advised he either changed his lifestyle
to include diet or he would not survive past age 40. He
resolved to live to the age of 102 free of disease by
following 2 simple rules: 1)eat what agrees with your stomach
2)eat the least amount possible
I find it to be a very sound advise.
Emphasis is on wholesome foods.
