Please do yourself a healthful "favour" and either:

1. Get more sunshine - as much as your "crave". For me this is 2-4 hours a day in the summer, but in the Northern hemispehere where I live, the sun can only be used for 4-5 months of the year. The other 7 months you must either:

Supplement - I personally take a high quality GMP manufactured Vitamin D3 10,000IU pill form - every 5-7 days plus I take a multivitamn every other day which contains Vitamin D2 400IU - this is insignificant for our purposes. I do not recommend anyone else takes this dosage without researching the issue of Vitamin D and how skin colour, latitude and geographical location plus all other factors which affect Vitamin D requirements. This dosage is FOR ME and all my experience/research/knowledge. It maintains my D3 levels in the 70-130 serum range. If i dont supplement, come January, my levels dip down to 40. I read one lady following the 811 caused serious damage to her bones and joints as her Vitamin D and calcium bone levels became seriously depleted. Dont let that be you.

3. Tanning bed - I'm sceptical about these and have not done any research on them nor have i used them.

4. Take a vacation of at least 3-4 weeks to top your levels up (some say levels can be maintained within the body up to 6 months, some say less. From my own personal experience, it takes about 2-3 months before my levels dip back out of range if I do not supplement.

Remember, taking Vitamin D/more sunshine to get your levels up to the optimal range (50-150 micro moles per litre) will not necessarily mean that your pain symptoms will subside/disappear. However, if you are deficient in one component of health, you are deficient in everything else. So it would be a very good place to start.
