I'm not sure where you learned that raw foods are easier to digest than cooked foods, but that is simply not true in all cases. Some people have serious trouble dealing with raw cellulose, for example. Of course, the ideal is to heal the problem by removing the cause(s,) but while undergoing the process, we must allow for the fact that certain compromises can be necessary during interim periods. This is the difference between understanding health science, and utilizing it wisely, as compared to innocently thinking of health science as a set of black and white rules to be applied in all situations at all times. The know-how takes practice, training, education, and insight.
