Subject:         Weightlifting myths

I seem to be hearing lots of conflicting information when it
comes to weightlifting and adding muscle mass. I was
generally under the impression that low reps and high weights
stimulate the greatest muscle growth. But many "sources" are purporting that 8-12 reps are the best for the greatest muscle
growth. Others claim different numbers for different body
parts. I am hearing just as many conflicting information for
the number of sets.

Regarding muscle growth, what is the best way to go? How many
reps and how many sets? Thanks in advance!
