| Subject: | General Vitamin B12 Question Please |
|

Hi there,
Have a recent blood test of VB12 of 295ng/L. I have no
symptoms of deficiency. The lower range in the UK mainstream
medical establishment i believe is around 180 ng/L (at my
local General Practice Clinic).
I have read that in different countries such as Japan the
lower range is 500ng/L and if below this they recommend
supplementation.
I am aware that there is much conflicting literature on this
subject and many factors which influence the absorption of
VB12. I would appreciate you opinion on the matter please:
My questions are - what should a persons VB12 level be
optimally? is it relative to the individual or same for all
peoples physiology.
I wonder with all your experience is there a simple summary
to this question or practical approach?
Overall I just want to educate myself to ensure my vB12 level
is optimal :)which had come to my awareness as I continue on
my journey towards health
Any advice you can share will be greatly appreciated
Thanks
