"Natural" cravings and "instinctual" eating is a complex area, especially as most of us did not spend our early years on 811. I no longer eat avocado or other overt fats, not because I think small amounts of overt fats are problematic, rather they just don't provide much in the way of energy or minerals. I also no longer desire to eat them. I imagine that if I lived in a forest, I would learn that eating avocados all day would make me sluggish and not provide the fuel I needed to run, work or play. So even if we find avocados tasty and feel they digest well, do we find they are an amazing source of energy for our exercise and mental concentration? I remember when I started on 811 after eating high fat raw food and it was a tremendously profound and beautiful experience to enjoy real energy and vitality for the first time in years. I cherish that and know that juicy fruits and greens are responsible.
