I was eating a mostly raw 80/10/10 diet before I got pregnant and have been high raw for 3 1/2 years. This is my 4th pregnancy. I've had morning sickness with all of them. I thought since my body is much healthier now that this time would be easier, but I was wrong. I'm 11 weeks along now and since the 6th week I've only been able to eat unhealthy foods. Even the thought of vegetables or whole grains or anything like that makes me start gagging and choking. Food smells also have this effect. I can still eat fruit, but if I try to eat fruit like I used to I get very weak and dizzy like my blood sugar is extremely low (I have a history of hypoglycemia). Its been helping to drink 2 Sunwarrior protein shakes a day, in fact before I started that I was having trouble even staying conscious. I don't want to be feeding myself and my baby the things I have been but most days I can only think of 1 or 2 foods in the world I can stomach, so I eat whatever I can get in. Any advice on what causes these aversions or anything I can do to get in more healthy foods? Everything I've read says its normal and to just wait it out and get back to a healthier diet when my appetite returns. Thanks!
