Thank you for your kind response, Dr Graham :) Would candida tend to eat up the cooked starch if it were not digested well? I think I once heard we lack the digestive enzymes for breaking down lots of starch (even if it is dextrinised/cooked). Is this when the candida steps in? Would be interesting to know about this, even if my self-diagnosis of candida overgrowth is inaccurate (as I know candida is often blamed for many physical ailments, when in balance it serves great purpose).
