Dear Dr Graham,

Warm wishes to you from Sweden!

I was wondering whether cooked starches feed candida and, if so, why is this (what's the physiological function)?

I've systemic candida overgrowth, and noticed more patches of candida on my skin since eating some cooked starch (just sweet potatoes and winter squash, with lettuce and nothing else, and eating fruit mono-meals during the day).

Much love and thanks for your kind support,
DJ
